This workshop will explore injuries affecting the lower body. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the three stages of healing—inflammation, repair, and remodeling—essential for guiding recovery. We will also explore pelvis and lower limb anatomy, which is crucial for understanding injury mechanisms. By the end of this workshop, you will have a thorough understanding of lower limb injuries, making you well-prepared to manage and rehabilitate them effectively.

The workshop will focus on conditions such as IT band syndrome, piriformis syndrome’ runner’s knee, meniscus tears, and ankle sprains. For each, we will discuss how these injuries occur, the signs and symptoms to look out for, and strategies to support the rehabilitation process, from mobility work to strengthening exercises. Expect practical insights and evidence-based approaches that will enhance recovery and prevent future issues, giving you the confidence to manage and rehabilitate common lower body injuries effectively.
