Anatomy and Pilates Mat I Course :: Dubai :: United Arab Emirates

For the first time in Dubai – Anatomy & Pilates Mat I Course
Anatomy course – During this course, we will build a strong foundation in anatomy, providing the essential knowledge required to progress into advanced Pilates education. You will become familiar with anatomical terminology, planes of movement, and the names, locations, and functions of bones, joints, and major muscle groups throughout the body.
We will also explore the respiratory, nervous, and circulatory systems to develop a clear understanding of how these systems support movement, coordination, efficiency, and recovery. This integrated overview will help you see how different body systems work together during exercise and daily activities.
By the end of the course, you will have a deeper understanding of the human body and how anatomical principles relate directly to the Pilates method. This knowledge will enhance your teaching skills, improve your ability to observe and cue movement, and provide a solid anatomical framework to support safe, effective, and thoughtful Pilates practice.
Body & Flow Mat I Course – This is a 45-hour immersive training experience designed to help you become a confident, thoughtful, and skillful Pilates teacher. Throughout the course, we will move step by step from foundational principles to more complex intermediate repertoire, exploring not only how to perform each exercise, but why and for whom.
Together, we will focus on precise execution, intelligent modifications, and applied anatomy. You’ll learn how to observe movement patterns, identify misalignments, and offer tactile and verbal cues that are supportive, clear, and effective. Through practice teaching, guided labs, problem-solving, and reflective discussions, you will expand your teaching vocabulary and develop your ability to respond to real human bodies in real time – mindfully and with confidence.
At its heart, this program is an invitation to grow your voice, awareness, compassion, and presence as a teacher. You’ll leave not just knowing the exercises, but understanding how to teach them.
